Man shot, in stable condition
Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a shooting in Feltonville that left a man hospitalized with a bullet wound to his arm and back.
The 21-year-old victim was sitting on a porch on 4th Street near Roosevelt Boulevard at about 10 p.m. when a man wearing a blue button down shirt, jeans and a yellow Polo hat walked up and shot him, police said.
The man was shot once in the back of his left arm, and the bullet traveled into his back police Chief Inspector Scott Small said.
Medics rushed the man to the Albert Einstein Medical Center, and Small said the victim was listed in stable condition as of 11 p.m.
Small said the suspect was likely in his 20s, but added that the victim was hesitant to provide police with information on why the man may have shot him.

@ BurbGuy: Just so long as we arrest all those suburbanites who come into the city to raise hell and buy their drugs. Fair's fair, right? Veer Ji

Veer Ji: Recent statistics from the 2010 census shows that middle class Blacks, even working class African-Americans, are now moving to the 'burbs to get away from the criminals. What suburbanites are you talking about? Back in the 1950s and 1960s when Whites moved to the 'burbs to get away from the criminals and get better schools for their children, the media called it "White Flight" a phrase that had racist overtones, however now with Blacks equally fleeing the inner city, the Media can't call it for what it is? White Fligth doesn't work anymore, now it's folks simply trying to better themselves and their families situation. Hey! Wake up! It's what it has always been, there was no white flight, it was regular folks getting away from the criminals. Anthony Palmer
