Man shot, in critical condition

This post has been updated.

A man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times while he sat inside a car in North Philadelphia Monday night.

Police were unsure early Tuesday morning of exactly where the shooting took place, but said they found the 21-year-old victim inside the car on Glenwood Avenue near 10th Street at about 7:20 p.m.

Detectives said the man was shot in the arms, legs and groin, and tried driving from the scene but crashed into cars that were parked in the area.

Officials were unsure if the car the victim sat in was parked at the time of the incident, and what circumstances led to the shooting.

Police took the man to Temple University Hospital, and said he was listed in critical condition as of 12:30 a.m.

A description of possible suspects was not available early Tuesday morning, and no arrests have been made.
