Man shot in ankle in West Philly

A man suffered a gunshot wound to the ankle near 45th Street and Chester Avenue around 11 p.m., police said. This shooting comes on the heels of a robbery last night that left a man with a gunshot wound to the foot near 46th and Walnut streets.

Police said the 24-year-old man was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and listed in stable condition. They had no suspects or motives in the shooting.
