Police arrested two people in connection with a morning shooting in South Philadelphia's Point Breeze neighborhood on Wednesday.

Police arrested two people in connection with a morning shooting in South Philadelphia’s Point Breeze neighborhood on Wednesday.

Cops said a 58-year-old man was outside at 15th Street and Washington Avenue when someone shot at him, wounding him twice in the right thigh, shortly after 10 a.m.

The victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Investigators were unsure what motivated the shooting, but preliminarily, the said a vehicle used in the shooting was positively identified, a gun was recovered and two people were arrested in connection with the incident at 29th Street and Snyder Avenue shortly thereafter.

No official charges had been filed as of later Wednesday.
