Man shot in Fairhill, hospitalized

A 25-year-old man was shot twice in the left hip at about 9:30 Tuesday night on Hancock Street near Indiana Avenue, and was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition, police said.

Police said the victim knows his attacker, although officials were investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting.

Information on the suspect was not immediately available.
