A man was clinging to life after he was shot in the chest in Logan late Sunday night, police said.

A man was clinging to life after he was shot in the chest in Logan late Sunday night, police said.

Cops said the man, who remained unidentified but they estimated was in his late teens or early 20s, was shot once in the right side of his chest at Sydenham and Courtland streets at 10:17 p.m.

He was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he underwent surgery and remained in extremely critical condition around 11:30 p.m.

Police were unsure what motivated the shooting, and no arrest was made Sunday night.
