Man critical after Tioga shooting

A man was in critical condition after he was shot in the head in Tioga Sunday evening, police said.

The 32-year-old victim was outside near 16th Street and Erie Avenue when he was shot once in the middle of the forehead at 7:37 p.m., police said. Medics rushed him to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition Sunday night.

Police said they believe they know who committed the shooting and that the suspect fled westbound on Erie Avenue in a green Isuzu. They said no arrest was made Sunday.
