Police have charged a third man with murder in the February robbery and murder of a Grays Ferry man.

Clyde J. Johnson, 24, of Ingersoll Street near 19th in North Philly, got locked up yesterday for allegedly helping Mark Richardson, 31, and Bryant Johnson, 30, rob and kill Anthony Wright, 42, of Wharton Street near 30th, on Feb. 5 on Lehigh Avenue near 16th street in North Philly, said Officer Christine O'Brien, a police spokeswoman.

Police arrested Richardson, of 12th Street near Grange Avenue in Fern Rock, in March and Bryant Johnson, of Union near Poplar in North Philly, in early April, O'Brien added. The Johnsons are not related.

All three defendants and Wright have prior drug arrests, according to court records. Richardson had been released from state prison in early 2011 after being sentenced to a six to 12 years for a March 2004 armed robbery and assault, and was still under parole supervision at the time of Wright's slaying, court records show.
