Police Thursday night arrested Alfonzo Priester, 19, shortly after a shooting in the parking lot of the Hope Plaza, on 22nd Street near Lehigh Avenue, that left three people hospitalized in stable condition.

Priester, of Tioga Street near Ontario, was identified by a witness, police said.

Shots rang out about 6 p.m. in the parking lot outside the shopping center. A 32-year-old man was shot once in his right thigh, a 29-year-old woman was shot twice in her left shoulder, and a 19-year-old man was shot in his right ankle, police said.

Early reports from police indicated that there were two suspects and apprehensions made — however Officer Christine O’Brien, a police department spokeswoman, said there was only one suspect in the shooting.

Police found Priester in a vacant house on Cambria Street near Woodstock, about six blocks from the scene. Information on the man’s motive was not available.

He is charged with three counts of aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats and weapons violations.

Well, I guess we know your position on racial issues, Anthony Conti II. How about I say something derogatory about the Mafia just for you? I mean, fair's fair.

Okay, let's remember our social studies from elementary school. There are three levels of government: federal, state, and local. President Obama is involved with laws that are effective at the FEDERAL level, such as laws governing TERRORISM. That's because he's President of the United States...all fifty of them. What this individual is accused of doing is ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON, and possibly ATTEMPTED MURDER, and similar charges. These FELONIES are crimes under STATE law, so if you have problems with the penalties for these crimes, ask Governor Corbett to ask the state legislature to make changes, because Mr. Corbett is governor of the COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA. ("Commonwealth" is the same as "state," by the way...). Don't bring President Obama or Mayor Nutter into this discussion, because neither is responsible, in any way, for STATE LAW. Maybe you should make a new beginning in studying the way government works...just for your own edification...and no, I won't define that term for you. Google it.
