Man and teen shot in broad daylight in Frankford

A man and a teen suffered gunshot wounds to their legs when they were shot in the city's Frankford section Tuesday afternoon.

Police were investigating a broad-daylight shooting Tuesday afternoon in Frankford that left a man and a teen hospitalized.

Police spokeswoman Officer Tanya Little said officers responded at 12:12 p.m. to Bridge and Marlowe streets, where a 16-year-old boy had been shot in both legs and a 30-year-old man had been shot in his right leg. Medics took the teen to St. Christopher's Hospital and the man to Aria Health's Torresdale Campus, and both were listed in stable condition Tuesday evening.

Little said police had no motives or suspects in the shootings.
