In the third homicide in about as many hours in North Philadelphia, a 19-year-old man was pronounced dead at the hospital after he was shot around 7 o'clock Monday night.

Cops said the shooting started inside an auto-body shop at 23rd and Stewart streets – about three blocks from the scene where a 51-year-old man was gunned down earlier in the day – and spilled outside. The 19-year-old victim was hit in the back and taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:38 p.m. A second victim, a 21-year-old man, was shot in the right hand and taken to Temple University Hospital in a private vehicle. He was listed in stable condition.

Chief Inspector Scott Small said detectives were reviewing surveillance video from a camera nearby at 23rd and Jefferson streets, and that it captured four men approaching the scene then fleeing around the time of the shooting.

Two 9mm shell casings, two live rounds and the victim's shoes and cell phone marked the scene of the shooting.

Police remained at the scene investigating around 9 p.m.
