A 24-year-old man died at Temple University Hospital Sunday night after police say someone shot him several times in North Philadelphia's Tioga section.

A 24-year-old man died at Temple University Hospital Sunday night after police say someone shot him several times in North Philadelphia's Tioga section.

The man was at 16th and Tioga streets shortly after 8 p.m. when he was shot, according to cops. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:47 p.m.

No arrests have been made in the fatal shooting, which is the city's 322nd homicide of 2012 with 15 days left in the year. At the end of 2011, according to police department statistics, there were 324 homicides.
