A 23-year-old man is in critical condition following a stabbing early Sunday in Southwest Philadelphia, police said.

A 23-year-old man is in critical condition following a stabbing early Sunday in Southwest Philadelphia, police said.

The incident occured shortly after midnight on Woodland Avenue near 64th. Preliminary reports said the victim was stabbed multiple times in the face, chest, back and left arm.

He was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in critical condition.

No arrests were made.
