A 22-year-old man died after being shot in his neck on Griscom Street near Arrott in Frankford Tuesday evening, police said.

The man was taken to Temple University Hospital and was pronounced dead at 7:07 p.m., police said.

The suspect was described as a light skinned man who was wearing a grey shirt and was last seen in a light colored Pontiac with tinted windows, a moon roof and rear spoiler. The car was last seen heading west on Arrott Street, police said.

Information on the shooter's motive was not immediately available and there were no witnesses. Municipal surveillance cameras that are stationed on the corner recorded the incident, police said.
