A 22-year-old man was hospitalized Sunday night after cops say he was stabbed in Northeast Philadelphia's Holmesburg section.

Circumstances surrounding the stabbing were not immediately clear, but police said the victim suffered a stab wound to the lower right abdomen shortly after 8 p.m. at Walker and Hartel streets.

He was taken to Aria Health's Torresdale hospital. A police spokeswoman said no arrests were made in the stabbing.
