Man, 22, slain in North Philly shooting

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday night on Uber Street near Berks in North Philadelphia.

Update: Officials have identified the 22-year-old man who was shot and killed on North Uber Street between Montgomery and Berks as Raheem Jamison.

Jamison lived on the 1800 block of Uber Street, where he was shot multiple times Thursday night police said.

Officials have not yet taken anyone into custody in connection with the incident, and did not have a description of a possible suspect.

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that ocurred tonight in the parking lot of the Montgomery Townhouses in North Philadelphia.

The 22-year-old man was shot multiple times in the arm, shoulder and twice in the leg about 10:15 p.m. at the development, which is on Uber Street near Berks.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead about 20 minutes later, police said.

Five witnesses were taken to the Homicide Division to be questioned, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.

Detectives are still on the scene investigating.
