Police are investigating the death of an unidentified 21-year-old man whose body was found inside a house in South Philadelphia Tuesday afternoon.

Police are investigating the death of an unidentified 21-year-old man whose body was found inside a house in South Philadelphia Tuesday afternoon.

The man was found in a home on Juniper Street near Moore with a gunshot wound to his left eye and lower abdomen, police said. Medics pronounced him dead on the scene at 4:24 p.m., and police were unsure of the circumstances that led to the shooting.

Two witnesses were taken to the Homicide Unit for questioning and a description of the shooter was not immediately available, police said.
