A 19-year-old man is dead after he was shot several times in Southwest Philadelphia's Eastwick section Monday night, police said.

A 19-year-old man is dead after he was shot several times in Southwest Philadelphia's Eastwick section Monday night, police said.

Cops said the man was in a park at 77th Street and Buist Avenue at 8:25 p.m. when someone shot him five times: once in the chest, twice in the left leg, once in the back and once in the left arm.

Police rushed him to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where doctors pronounced him dead 20 minutes after the shooting.

Police said no weapon was recovered at the scene, and no arrests were made as of 9:30 p.m. The homicide remains under investigation.
