A 19-year-old man was hospitalized after a neighbor shot him on an Olney street early Monday evening, police said, and his alleged shooter surrendered to cops a little more than an hour after the incident.

Cops said the victim was on Rubicam Street near 2nd when the neighbor, who they said is in his 30s, opened fire around 6:30 p.m., striking him once in the left thigh.

The shooting may have been connected to a burglary that happened early Monday morning and may have been perpetrated by the victim or a friend of his, cops said.

Medics took the victim to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition. The alleged shooter surrendered to cops at 35th District headquarters, Broad Street and Champlost Avenue, around 7:45 p.m. and was being interviewed by investigators.
