An 18-year-old man was in critical condition after he was shot three times throughout his body in West Oak Lane early Wednesday morning, police said.

The man was outside near the intersection of 15th Street and 67th Avenue around 2:15 a.m. when someone opened fire on him, shooting him once in the left side of the head, once in the left wrist and once in the stomach, police said.

A private car took the victim to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition Wednesday afternoon.

No arrests have been made in the shooting.

About a block away from the scene of that shooting, a 35-year-old man was shot last Tuesday night during a gun battle at 16th Street and 67th Avenue. It’s unclear whether the two shootings are related.
