Laptops stolen from Center City charter school

A man walked into the Philadelphia Electrical and Technical Charter High School on Chestnut Street near Broad, roamed the halls and stole two dell laptops from classrooms at around 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

The man was wearing a blue "Spectra Security" guard jacket with fur around the collar, black sneakers with white soles and was wearing glasses at the time, officials said.

Police said the suspect is about 5-foot-5 to 5-feet-6 inches tall, has a receding hairline and was either a light-skinned African American man, or a Hispanic man between 35 and 40 years old.
