Spider-Man? Hunt still on for man on crutches who hurdled barbed-wire fence, escaped cops

Police today are still on the hunt for Keith Freeman, an alleged criminal who apparently has Spider-Man-like skills and hopped a barbed-wire fence near Temple University Hospital yesterday to get away from cops ... despite being on crutches and in a neck brace.

Police today are still on the hunt for Keith Freeman, an alleged criminal who apparently has Spider-Man-like skills. Cops say he hopped a barbed-wire fence near Temple University Hospital yesterday to get away from cops, despite being on crutches and in a neck brace.

We're going to assume Freeman, 18 -- who was initially arrested for traffic violations at Cambria and Tusculum streets in North Philadelphia around 1:20 a.m. yesterday -- was faking his injuries.

Officers were escorting Freeman out of the hospital -- not handcuffed, but on crutches and in a neck brace -- around 4 p.m. yesterday when he somehow managed to hop a 6-foot barbed-wire fence and take off, according to police. A spokesman for the hospital said he was discharged from the emergency room at 3:48 p.m.

Twenty-four hours later, Freeman, of Palethorp Street near Huntingdon in North Philadelphia's Fairhill section, still hasn't been tracked down. He's charged with resisting arrest and fleeing police, a department spokeswoman said.

If you spot him, give police a call at 215-686-TIPS (8477) or text a tip to PPD TIP (773847).
