Police are looking for a man who they say attempted to rob a McDonald's in North Philadelphia 12 days ago.

According to police, on June 23 at 6:37 a.m., a man entered the McDonald's restaurant on Lehigh Avenue near 22nd Street armed with a handgun and demanded money from an employee. The employee backed away from the counter and started yelling at which time the man ran out of the restaurant without any money.

The suspect is described as a young black man of thin build between 19 and 22 and between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a dark zip-up hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white and black sneakers. The suspect also has tattoos on his face and on the back of his right hand.
