POSTED: Thursday, July 5, 2012, 5:17 PM

Police are looking for a man who they say attempted to rob a McDonald’s in North Philadelphia 12 days ago.

According to police, on June 23 at 6:37 a.m., a man entered the McDonald’s restaurant on Lehigh Avenue near 22nd Street armed with a handgun and demanded money from an employee. The employee backed away from the counter and started yelling at which time the man ran out of the restaurant without any money.

The suspect is described as a young black man of thin build between 19 and 22 and between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a dark zip-up hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white and black sneakers. The suspect also has tattoos on his face and on the back of his right hand.

Tipsters are asked to call 215-686-TIPS (8477), text an anonymous tip to PPD TIP (773847) or submit a tip online.

Uh-huh. And while you're at it, you'd better call your mama because he could be your step-daddy.

What are you on about, man? What does Obama have to do with what is likely this clown's LIFETIME of ineffective parenting, lack of morals, and absence of pride? Oh, I see: When you lack the minimum of two brain cells to rub together in order to say something even remotely intelligent, just blame Obama. Okay, got it.

Man, I remember the 'Burger Wars' from the 80s/90s, but this is just silly. Back then it was just the Hamburglar vs. the Court Jester.

How about a rule like" no shoes no shirt no service" for hoodies. Remove hoodie before entering. Then put a hidden camera at eye level behind the counter. The angles make it easy for people to hide their faces.
