Four shot in Kensington

Four men were shot this afternoon in Kensington, one of whom was listed in critical condition, according to police.

Four men were shot this afternoon in Kensington, one of whom was listed in critical condition, according to police.

The quadruple shooting happened around 12:59 p.m. on Allegheny Avenue near G Street, police said. A man in his 20s was shot once in his stomach and taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition, police said.

A second, older man, whose age was unknown, was listed in stable condition at Episcopal Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. Two other men, ages 67 and 68, were also shot in the leg and listed in stable condition at Episcopal, according to authorities.

Police have not released a motive for the shooting.
