Police are searching for a group of four gun-toting men who burst into a convenience store in East Germantown and robbed the business on Monday afternoon.

The men entered the store on Woodlawn Street near Chew Avenue at about 1 p.m. and forced their way into an office, police said. They took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot toward Devon Street.

The armed robbery was recorded on a surveillance camera, and police are looking to the public to help identify and arrest the robbers.

Tipsters are asked to call the Northwest Detective Division at 215-686-3353 or the tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477). Tipsters may also reach the police department online.
