Feds hunting University City bank robber

Do you know this guy?

He robbed the TD Bank branch at 3735 Walnut Street in University City this morning.

FBI Spokesman J.J. Klaver says he entered the bank about 9 a.m., presented a threatening demand note to a teller and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber is described as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s, 6-foot-2, 200 pounds or more, with a mustache and short goatee or facial stubble, wearing a tan bucket hat with an unidentified logo and word on the front, a plain black t-shirt and blue jeans. He was carrying a large black duffel bag and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (215) 418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to his capture, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
