FBI seeks help ID'ing child-porn victim, suspects

Does the name "New Market" mean anything to you? Or do you recognize the house and men pictured here?

The FBI is asking for the public's help to identify the unknown child posed in sexually explicit positions in photographs that have been circulating online in child-pornography forums since February 2003.

The photos include a yellow t-shirt with the text "New Market Basketball" above the outline of a basketball. Investigators found many New Market locations in the United States, including in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware (as well as Iowa, Indiana, Maryland, Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee, Minnesota, Ohio and North Carolina).

A home with an aboveground swimming pool and what appears to be yellow siding also is visible in some images, according to the FBI.

"If recognized, these items could also assist in providing valuable information leading to the demographic location of the abused child," the FBI said in a statement.

The men pictured in the images are described as white. One is age 25 to 35, with dark hair and glasses. The other is age 35 to 45, with dark hair.

This investigation is part of the FBI’s Operation “Rescue Me” and Endangered Child Alert Program (ECAP) initiatives, which are partnerships between the FBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Operation “Rescue Me” focuses on using clues gleaned from in-depth image analysis to identify the child victims depicted in child-exploitation material, while ECAP seeks national and international media exposure of unknown adults who visibly display their faces or other distinguishing characteristics in child pornography images.
