(Philadelphia Police)

Jorge Aldea, who was wanted for the Nov. 25 murder of Louis Chevere in North Philadelphia, was arrested Friday evening in Bronx, New York, police said.

Rosemary Fernandez Rivera, 33, who reportedly spoke to police as a witness in Chevere’s murder, died Monday night after being shot four times at point blank range while she was working at the Caribe Mini Market on Mutter Street near Westmoreland in North Philadelphia.

Police said the woman was likely targeted, because the shooter walked into the store and opened fire without turning his attention to two other employees, or taking any cash or merchandise.

Agents in the FBI’s New York City field office confirmed that Aldea, 23, was arrested without incident. However, details on the man’s connection to New York City were not immediately available.

"Aldea's criminal record - which includes 13 arrests - dates back to 2005, when he was arrested for attempted murder, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment, among others, according to court documents. Those charges were dropped less than a month after he turned 16." This is why Philly is Killadelphia.

Did they find this guy in one of the known drug trafficking areas in NY? Is he a low level player who could not provide any real information that would give him a pass? It's been common knowledge that major New York drug trafficking organizations use Philadelphia as a transshipment point for their drugs, drug-proceeds, and illegal guns. It's sad that the Philadelphia/Camden is the second largest seaport in this nation, yet the city's leaders have been so unsuccessful relative to enticing enough legal entities to locate here. In 2010 and 2011 Los Angles seaport broke export volume records. Why isn't that something happening here?

i find it a bit odd that he was wanted for a november murder, police couldn't locate him for almost 2 months, then the only witness to that murder is murdered and they find him 3 days later not in philly, where he's probably been all along, but in a completely other state.
thats what "seth" as some of you chose to refer to the D.A as, is faced with, now you all get to play "seth" for a moment, do you accept a guilty plea for a lesser charge and guarantee he's locked away, or risk defense lawyers convincing 1 person of doubt and he walks without serving 1 day in prison?
    it's your move counselor...

I can help his tattoos with two round of OO buckshot on his face and it would make him real cute. Better yet put him in a chair at camp hill and put 3 conductors on his genitals and give him a couple jolts of some nice clean 3 mile island electricity. nothing more than walking fecal matter!!
