Double stabbing in Kingsessing leaves man, woman hospitalized
Police are investigating a stabbing that left a man in critical condition and a woman wounded in Kingsessing Sunday night.
Cops are investigating a double stabbing in West Philadelphia's Kingsessing section that left a man and a woman hospitalized, one in critical condition, Sunday evening.
Police said a known suspect entered a residence on 58th Street near Warrington Avenue just before 7 p.m. and went on a rampage, stabbing a 22-year-old man several times and stabbing an 18-year-old woman twice in the hands. Both victims were rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where the man was listed in critical condition and the woman was stable.
Police had not yet made any arrests in the incident around 8 p.m. Sunday, and did not give details on what motivated the attack.
