Decomposing body found in Logan home

Police are investigating the death of an unidentified 21-year-old man whose body was found in a house in Logan Tuesday afternoon.

Cops in the 35th District responded to a house on Marvine Street near Ruscomb around 5 p.m. after one of the victim’s relatives found his partially decomposing body, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.

The Medical Examiner was called to the scene and found two gunshot wounds to the man’s head and one to his back, Small said.

The victim’s family hadn’t heard from him in over two weeks, and police were unsure of the circumstances surrounding the unidentified man’s death Tuesday night.
