Can't beat that headline for simplicity, eh?

Police are hunting for two armed thugs who assaulted a tire store employee in South Philadelphia last Tuesday. The assailants brandished semiautomatic handguns when they entered the ADL Tire Company, at 15th Street and Passyunk Avenue, shortly before 2 p.m.

Police said the men demanded a set of keys and then struck the employee in the head with a gun. The assailants fled on foot without taking anything. The victim described one suspect as a medium-built, 5-foot-10 black man who wore a long-sleeved blue shirt and jeans. The other suspect was described as a 5-foot-7 black man with a light beard. He wore a white t-shirt, blue cap and jeans. Tipsters can contact South Detectives at 215-686-3013 or -3014.
