Police are seeking the public's help in nabbing two armed robbers who held up an Elmwood grocery on March 14.

The bandits struck at 8:49 p.m., brandishing handguns and demanding money as they approached the counter at the Peralta grocery store on Dicks Avenue near Sylmar Street, police said. One robber stole $300 in cash from the register and several packs of cigarettes. Both men then fled the store on foot.

The suspects are described as black males, about 5-foot-7, and 160 pounds. One (pictured) wore a black Nike hooded sweatshirt and carried a black revolver. The other wore a white tank top and a black shirt covering his face; he was armed with a silver handgun.

Tipsters can call 9-1-1, the tip line at (215) 686-TIPS or Southwest Detectives at (215) 686-3183 or 3184.
