Police are searching for two men who robbed a restaurant in the Eastwick section of Southwest Philadelphia at gunpoint on March 24.
About 1 a.m., two men walked into the Golden King II restaurant on Elmwood Avenue near 71st Street. One man pulled out a gun and pointed it at employees while the second suspect climbed over the bar counter to steal money and SEPTA tokens from the cash register.
The gun-toting suspect is described as a light-skinned black man in his early twenties who is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. The man was wearing dark pants and a gray and light blue hooded sweater, police said.
The second suspect is described as a black man in his early twenties who is about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. He was wearing a light grey hooded sweater, dark pants that were cuffed at the ankles and a black mask covering his face.
