Cops: Speeding Porsche goes airborne, lands on Roosevelt Boulevard

A 33-year-old man is in critical condition after he lost control of his Porsche, went airborne and landed on Roosevelt Boulevard Sunday morning, police said.

Police said the driver, whose name was not released, was traveling at a high rate of speed in a 2012 Porsche Cayenne when he tried to make a left turn from Broad Street onto Cayuga around 7:50 a.m. and lost control of the car. The vehicle struck a concrete barrier, went airborne, hit a fence and then landed on its roof in the southbound lanes of Roosevelt Boulevard.

The driver was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition. No other injuries were reported.
