Cops: Drunk man steals airport plow, hits six cars on I-95

A drunk, New York man stole a truck with a snow plow at an airport terminal yesterday morning and drove it on to I-95, where he plowed in to six cars before he stopped to fight a trooper, according to state police.

A drunk, New York man stole a truck with a snow plow at an airport terminal yesterday morning and drove it on to I-95, where he plowed in to six cars before he stopped to fight a trooper, according to state police.

Around 7:15 a.m. at terminal B at the Philadelphia International Airport, Brian Mussaw, 28, slipped in to a Ford F-350 equipped with a snow plow through the passenger's door after the airport employee who was operating the truck had stepped out of it to check on a terminal door, police said.

Leaving the stunned employee behind, Mussaw got on to I-95 North, where, while driving at high speeds, he side swiped and rear ended a total of six cars, according to police. One of those cars hit a seventh vehicle, the impact of which caused it to go over the guardrail, police said.

A state trooper was able to initiate a traffic stop, but during the stop, Mussaw got out of the stolen truck and charged at the trooper, resisting physical and verbal commands, police said. He was placed in to custody when a second trooper arrived on the scene, according to police.

Mussaw, of New York, was charged with numerous offenses, including theft of a motor vehicle, driving under the influence of intoxicants and aggravated assault.

Luckily, there were no injuries to the drivers or passengers in the cars he hit, police said.

A state police spokeswoman did not immediately return calls for comment so it remains unknown what Mussaw was doing at the airport terminal.
