Two men were shot in North Philadelphia Thursday night, police said, but both victims refused to cooperate with police to aid in the investigation of the shooting.
Both victims, ages 20 and 25, were sitting outside one of the victims’ houses, on 24th Street near Oxford, when gunfire erupted on the block at 9:16 p.m., Chief Inspector Scott Small said.
When police from the 22nd District, headquartered at 17th Street and Montgomery Avenue, arrived at the scene, they found the 20-year-old victim bleeding from two gunshot wounds – one to his right arm and another to his right leg. Police picked up that man and took him to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Not long after, a 25-year-old man walked into the emergency room at Hahnemann University Hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm, police said. He claimed that he did not know how he got to Hahnemann, but told investigators he was shot at the same location as the other man.
