Boater finds body in Schuylkill River

Police scrambled to the Schuylkill River near Grays Ferry this morning after a boater found a floating body.

The grim discovery was made just before 8 a.m. off Schuylkill Avenue near Reed Street, police spokeswoman Officer Tanya Little said. Police had no other details on the body, which was taken for autopsy.
