Raymond Howard, 44, was arrested Tuesday night in connection with a shooting over a parking spot on Hurley Street on Monday, police said.

He’s charged with attempted murder, firearms violations, assault and reckless endangerment, according to court documents. Howard has a lengthy criminal history, which spans two decades.

On May 23, Howard was charged with assault, theft by deception and receiving stolen property and was put on probation for a year, according to court documents.

From the earlier story:

Two people were shot and wounded, one critically, late Monday in the city's Feltonville section in what police believe was a feud over a parking space.

Shotgun blasts erupted about 11:30 p.m. Monday on the 4500 block of Hurley Street and followed by more than four hours another shooting incident on the same block in which no one was hit, police said.

A 35-year-old woman was taken in critical condition with a shotgun wound to the chest to Temple University Hospital while a man was reported in stable condition with a leg wound
