Police are seeking suspects in an early morning shooting and attempted robbery in Hunting Park that left a man hospitalized.

A gunman tried to rob a 22-year-old man on Roosevelt Boulevard near Sixth Street about 6:15 a.m. this morning but instead shot his victim in the upper thigh, said Officer Jillian Russell, a police spokeswoman. Paramedics rushed the victim to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he remains in stable condition.

6ABC-TV identified the victim as a worker at the Fixed Flats garage.
