Police are on the hunt for five young thugs who they say attacked a man in Germantown in late May and forced him to withdraw money cash from an ATM.

Cops said the victim was walking on Greene Street near Rittenhouse shortly after 11 p.m. May 27 when the five teens approached and jumped him. They then forced him to withdraw $179 from an ATM and fled with the cash.

On Wednesday, police released surveillance showing part of the incident.

The suspect descriptions provided by police are as follows:

Suspect 1: Black man, 15 to 19, 5 feet 9 with a medium complexion and a stocky build who wore a blue T-shirt and blue jeans.

Suspect 2: Black man, 15 to 19, 5 feet 9 with a medium complexion, thin build who was shirtless and wore dark pants with light-colored double stripes down the leg.

The three other suspects were described only as men between 15 and 18.
