This is awful. May the woman RIP, and the driver of the van get the help he needs when he is in prison.

What a shame. A woman just out walking, minding her own business and Bam, she's dead. Goes to show, we never know when it's over. RIP.

Why Hahnemann Hospital when Aria was only a few blocks away?

Wilhelm - Please try and understand when jokes are appropriate. Now is not the time. Grow up.

That Wilhelm is just too clever. Even after someone dies a horrible death.

Because Hahnemann is a Trauma center, and FrankFORD isn't (the one in FrankFORD, that is).

6ABC reports it differently. They say he's arrested.

"Medics transported the driver to Hahnemann Hospital in critical condition.
He is also under arrest for driving under the influence"

We will never learn the identity of the driver in this newspaper . There will be no follow up , as usual .

There are 4 cemetaries where that accident happened. One on each corner...the only place in the country to own that distinction....The woman never saw the van coming, sounds like she was struck from behind. A real shame, she probably had parked her car & was walking down to the the EL to ride into town. Somedays it pays to get the bus.

By police division, Frankford and Cheltenham IS the Northeast ... and technically, the Northeast begins at the creek ...
