Police were investigating a possible murder-suicide in South Philadelphia Friday night.

Cops said two men, ages 44 and 53, were both found dead of gunshot wounds to the head inside a house on Fitzgerald Street near 6th just before 6 p.m. Police said both men live in the house, and there was no sign of forced entry or that anything had been taken.

One of the men, according to police, was found with a gun on his chest.

The shooting deaths remained under investigation late Friday.
