Cops: Woman hit with clothes iron

A 29-year-old woman suffered a cut to the head when her female roommate hit her with a clothes iron during an argument Tuesday night in West Oak Lane, police said.

The women began fighting about 11:15 p.m., police said, and the victim is in stable condition at the Albert Einstein Medical Center.

The victim's roommate — also 29 — was taken into custody and will likely face assault charges.
