Where's the underwear? Thieves hit Victoria's Secret again

I know there's a market for black panties, but there also seems to be quite the black market for panties as well lately.

Around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, two women between 25 and 30 years old stole $628.80 worth of merchandise from the Victoria's Secret and Body Central Clothing stores at the Granite Run Mall in Middletown, according to state police.

No word on whether or not they had to get the panties in a wad to smuggle them out of there.

The women escaped in a black Pontiac Bonneville and have yet to be identified, said police. For reasons unknown, the stores did not report the thefts to authorities until Friday.

The Granite Run Vicky's cheeks have to be red, as this is not the first time its panties have been raided.

In 2009, my colleague Bill Bender wrote about someone who stole $1,400 worth of merchandise from the store. A year prior to that, in 2008, four thieves swiped $2,200 worth of undergarments from shop.

Earlier this year, Bill blogged about a similar theft of $1,300 worth of underwear from the Victoria's Secret at the Springfield Mall.

Unless the thieves are concealing the garments while they're in a dressing room, I don't know how they're committing these thefts. Anytime I go in to a Victoria's Secret, there seems to be a sales associate within two feet of me in any direction who just can't wait to measure my bust or generally make me uncomfortable.
