Upper Darby police are asking the public to please keep an eye out for Geraldine Hammock, a missing 73-year-old woman who suffers from dementia.

Hammock, who lives with her sister on Hilltop Road near Keystone Avenue, has been missing since Friday and police are worried about her wandering out in this cold weather.

Upper Darby police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said Hammock was last seen walking to the WaWa on State Road in Upper Darby Friday afternoon. Her sister reported her missing on Saturday. Police have canvassed area parks, shelters and SEPTA stations with no luck.

"There's no sign of her anywhere," Chitwood said.

According to police, Hammock was last seen wearing a gold jacket with a fur-trimmed hood, a dark-green pant suit, black-and-pink sneakers and she was carrying a blue-and-white purse. She may be in the area of 59th and Christian streets in West Philadelphia, where she used to live.

Anyone who spots Hammock or has any information on her whereabouts is urged to call Upper Darby police at 610-734-3439.
