Harrah's employee charged with stealing tips

If the allegations police have levied against this Norma Jean are true, she did not have the grace to hold herself while those around her crawled.

Gray, of Philadelphia's Point Breeze section, was allegedly caught stealing $2,804 worth of tip money from the casino's main cage that she was supposed to distribute to 75 cage cashiers, who exchange customer's gaming chips for cash, police said. According to court documents, Gray was caught on video committing the theft.

In interviews, Gray admitted to the theft as well as two previous thefts in October and November that totaled $600, police said. Court documents did not detail how Gray allegedly stole the cash and a police spokesman declined to elaborate.

A Harrah's spokeswoman refused to answer any questions about Gray, including whether she was still employed at the casino.

Gray has been charged with theft and receiving stolen property.
