Fire extinguisher rampage in A.C. police headquarters
When I saw the headline, "Man Goes on Attack Inside AC Police HQ," then read that he used a fire extinguisher, I thought, "This man must be from Delco." Thomas McHugh allegedly injured five cops and two civilians and triggered an evacuation. With a fire extinguisher.
Fire extinguisher rampage in A.C. police headquarters
When I saw the headline, "Man Goes on Attack Inside AC Police HQ," then read that he used a fire extinguisher, I thought, "This man must be from Delco."
And, of course, 29-year-old Thomas McHugh of Drexel Hill (my hometown), chose a dreaded fire extinguisher as his weapon of choice, to give this story that trademark Delco Flavor. Really make it pop.
According to NBC10, McHugh somehow managed to injure five police officers and two civilians with his Extinguisher of Mass Destruction. Some were treated at the hospital for breathing problems and required oxygen. He also allegedly damaged the press conference room and triggered an evacuation of the entire building. Municipal court was closed for the day and civilian employees were sent home, NBC10 reports.
McHugh had apparently been arrested, but it's unclear how he got to the fourth floor and grabbed the fire extinguisher.

Mark Carr: I like to see you try to breath with that material flowing at you. I guess you would want them to shoot the person. Conthenet
