Could be a nail-biter in 7th Congressional District

Republicans in the Delaware County-based 7th Congressional District are somewhat surprised by the high Democratic turnout in the burbs, including in several bellwhether precincts in Delco. Could be a late night in the contest between Democrat Bryan Lentz and Republican Pat Meehan.

The difference might be decided by the portions of the district in Chester and Montgomery counties. Or will right-wing independent Jim Schneller, whom Lentz supporters helped place on the ballot, be the deciding factor?

Brace yourselves.

Update: Nevermind! Meehan won. By a lot.
