A 19-year-old woman was beaten up by her 22-year-old boyfriend and his 45-year-old mother in Upper Darby this weekend for daring to confront her beau about his heroin abuse, according to police.

A 19-year-old woman was beaten up by her 22-year-old boyfriend and his 45-year-old mother in Upper Darby this weekend for daring to confront her beau about his heroin abuse, according to police.
After that assault, the alleged heroin abuser, Stephen Pike Jr., then beat and slashed his father when he couldn't find his drugs, police said. Meanwhile, Pike's mother was arrested when she went to the police station to try and get a protection from abuse order against her son's girlfriend, police said.
Around 3:30 p.m. Friday, Pike was in the basement of his parents' home on Agnew Drive shooting up heroin when his girlfriend confronted him about his drug abuse, said Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood. In return for her concern, Pike beat, punched and choked his girlfriend, police said.
"She was able to get away to the second floor where she sees his mom and begs her for help," Chitwood said. "The mom then beats the girlfriend and sics the dog on her."
The young woman was able to get away from Pike's mother, whom police identified as Debra Pike, and crawl out of the house. She called police from a neighbor's residence, Chitwood said.
The victim was taken to Delaware County Memorial Hospital where she was treated and released for her injuries.
Less than 24 hours later, around 5:45 a.m. Saturday, police were called back to the Pike house, this time by Stephen Pike Sr., who reported that his namesake had slashed him up with a knife because he believed he'd hidden his drugs, Chitwood said.
"He's all banged up," Chitwood said. "He's got cuts on his ears and face"
Later Saturday morning, Debra Pike appeared at the Upper Darby police station seeking a protection from abuse order against the young woman police said she helped to beat up.
"I guess she figured the s--- was on and she wanted to try and get ahead of it," Chitwood said.
Police declined to grant the order and instead hit her with aggravated assault, harassment and related charges. She remains at the Delaware County Prison, according to Chitwood.
Police have also issued two warrants for Stephen Pike Jr., one for the assault on his girlfriend and the other for the assault on his father. He remains on the run.
What Chitwood dubbed this weekend's "family feud" is not the first time police have been called to the Pike residence. They've responded to the house four other times this year and 20 times in 2011 for assaults, thefts and domestic incidents, he said.
"You could sit out front of the house, sell birch beers and popcorn and watch the horror show," Chitwood said.

- not even close. He opened a website for legal donations which I have no idea how mich has been. No white people are "protecting" him. He has turned himself in when asked by the court and is only asking for money for his defense. Besides, that case is a lot more complicated because of "stand your ground" laws. T
